MOON Armchair in Metal and Glass

Description

A true manifesto of design and craftsmanship, it blends metal, leather, and glass in a dialogue where each element finds its place, evoking both diversity of forms and harmony of contrasts.

Its purpose: to play with transparencies and textures, to awaken the senses, to infuse a dimension that is at once sensual and spiritual. It is an ode to sacred femininity, a piece that transcends time while drawing on multiple artistic and cultural references.
In this creation, the duality of materials becomes a poetic dialogue: the rigor of metal responds to the warmth of leather, while the purity of glass captures and diffuses the light.

From a technical perspective, the glass was crafted in collaboration with a traditional glass artisan. Together, we selected specific pigments to recreate the singular image and texture of the moon.
The leather, in turn, comes from a prestigious tannery in France, a long-standing partner of a luxury brand. Vegetable-tanned and sourced from carefully selected hides, it embodies exceptional craftsmanship and profound respect for the material.
Finally, the ironwork underwent a lengthy research process. After several prototypes, we achieved the perfect form, enhanced by a distinctive custom marking I commissioned, lending a unique signature to the entire piece.
