In the early 1970s, several Italian workshops explored the possibilities of tinted plexiglass, seeking to combine transparency, thickness, and precise geometry. This square valet tray perfectly illustrates this formal research.
Made of molded smoked plexiglass, it measures 16 cm on each side and 5 cm in height. The work on mass and the legibility of the volumes is reminiscent of Italian productions specializing in thick resins during this decade.
The condition is very good. There are some fine signs of wear on the surface, which are regular and consistent with a piece from this period.
Placed on a desk, entryway or console, it adds a graphic and functional touch, ideal for organizing everyday essentials with simplicity.
