Description
The M60 Modular Lamp, designed in the 1960s by Rouge Ekkehard Fahr , is a rare and innovative example of modular lighting design. Conceived as a construction-kit system, it consists of interlocking enameled metal and plastic components that can be reconfigured to create table, floor, or pendant lamps.
Part of the constant collection of the MoMa New York. Its geometric clarity and functional adaptability reflect the experimental design language of postwar Germany, while its playful modularity makes it both practical and sculptural. Today, the M60 is sought after as a collectible piece that embodies the progressive design spirit of the 1960s.
