Description
A metal petal wall candleholder by Landstingets Verkstäder, Västerås, Sweden, 1960s. Landstingets Verkstäder were the workshop facilities of the Swedish county council system, producing well-crafted utilitarian and decorative objects, pieces that sit at the intersection of Scandinavian functionalism and artisan tradition.
The individual petals can be rearranged into different configurations, and a discreet nail hole at the centre of the stamen allows for clean wall mounting. Coated steel on the stem and holder contrasts with brushed metal petals. Fits a variety of candle sizes.
Height: 29 cm
