An abstract oil on canvas titled « Bird’s Nest » by Swedish artist Andreas Lensdorf (b. 1921). Created in the 1950s–60s the piece reflects the mid-century Scandinavian interest in organic motifs and gestural mark-making. Mounted in the original painted wood frame.
An original pamphlet relating to the artist accompanies the painting.

About The Artist
Andreas Lensdorf was born in 1921 in Gothenburg, Sweden. He studied at Slöjdföreningens skola (School of Design and Crafts) in Gothenburg and at Valand Art School. He exhibited widely including in Gothenburg, Borås, Alingsås, Skövde and various collective exhibitions in Sweden and Denmark. Andreas was a member of K.R.O. (Konstnärernas Riksorganisation, The Swedish Artists’ National Organisation).
