Description
A four-arm sculptural candleholder from c. 1970s Poland, heavy and angular with a raw, molten-textured body finished in matte black. The bubbled, encrusted surface, reminiscent of cooled lava or coral, gives the piece an almost geological presence, while the contrasting polished steel cup-shaped holders with pointed candle spikes bring a clean, precise finish.
Sturdy and substantial artisan made object.
Some light rusting visible to one of the cups on the underside and near the spike, consistent with age. Otherwise in good vintage condition.
Height: 17.5 cm Length: 33 cm Width: 9.5 cm
