Description
A sculptural Murano glass vase defined by its balanced, rounded form and finely textured surface.
Hand-blown in Venice and marked Murano 1985, the piece is executed in the balloton technique—a traditional mould-blown process that creates a soft, quilted pattern across the glass. This subtle texture diffuses light beautifully, giving the surface depth and movement.
The gently flared neck is defined by a warm tomato-red rim, formed within the glass and opened out to create a precise, graphic edge that sharpens the overall silhouette.
In natural light, the vase casts fluid, rippled reflections, extending its presence beyond the object itself. A confident standalone piece, equally suited to minimal arrangements.
