Description
In the 1980s, the Seguso workshop in Murano continued its precise exploration of colored transparencies. This sommerso glass vase, signed Flavio Poli , perfectly illustrates this mastery of contrast between superimposed layers. Made of Murano glass using the sommerso technique, it features a distinct purple inclusion, encapsulated within a carefully polished, transparent mass. The slender rectangular shape reflects the geometric work Poli was developing during this period, blending rich color with straight lines. The condition is very good. The edges remain sharp, the surfaces well polished. Some minor signs of wear, consistent with a period piece, without visual impact.
