Description
No. 2603 is a mini table lamp within Eun-chong Park’s Objects of Function series—designed to be gently placed on a tabletop. Despite its compact and minimal form, it clearly reveals the results of the artist’s continued exploration as well as the fine details crafted into the piece.
Each surface of the work exposes the heat-tinted coloration produced by the welding process, softening the metal’s naturally cold and sharp character. At the same time, the subtle variations in color deepen the sense of texture and make the contours and edges of the form appear even more distinct.
The light gathers through the transparent opening at the top, quietly expressing its presence within a small volume and creating a calm, atmospheric glow.
The lamp uses a 26EA base LED bulb, and it is connected with 220V wiring.
