Description
A surface that feels uncovered rather than painted. Built with centuries-old lime paint and finished with linseed oil and pigments, the work carries the quiet patina of time — as if it has always existed.
Applied on raw linen mounted to a wooden panel, the material is allowed to age, absorb and settle. The pigments soften into the weave, creating a worn, almost eroded texture that recalls Italian frescoes and faded wall paintings.
Nothing here is decorative. It is a study in material memory — where traditional techniques are used to evoke something enduring, restrained, and unmistakably timeless.
