Description
When modernism swept through Scandinavia in the 1930s, carried on the same wave as the German Bauhaus movement, designers threw out the ornament and kept only what mattered — clean lines, honest materials, and the firm belief that function is beauty enough. These nightstands are a perfect little chapter of that story.
Chromed tubular frames curve effortlessly around the black-painted cabinets, each finished with a polished ball-knob in chrome. An open shelf above offers a second tier for bedside essentials — a glass of water, a book, a lamp. Nothing more, nothing less.
The nightstands remain in good vintage condition, with surface wear consistent with their age and use. The cabinets have been repainted at some point.
