Description
Italian work from the 1960s, probably from a Florentine workshop specializing in refined office objects and table accessories. The contrast between the gilded brass and dark wood reveals a taste typical of Italian design from this period: balance, precision, and understated elegance.
Each box measures 21 cm in length, 10.5 cm in width, and 2.5 cm in height. The brass has a natural, even, warm patina, bearing witness to the passage of time without altering the aesthetics. The wood, perfectly preserved, has been cleaned and nourished on the inside.
Both pieces come from a dealer in Florence. Their manufacture highlights artisanal craftsmanship: clean assembly, fitted lids, and delicate metal and wood finishes.
