In the 1960s, several Italian workshops explored the combination of precious materials and transparent elements, seeking to create utilitarian objects with architectural lines. This pair of lucite and silver candlesticks embodies this aesthetic, with a particularly meticulous attention to verticality. Each candlestick combines a patinated silver base and neck with a faceted lucite stem, creating a subtle interplay between metallic brilliance and transparency.
