Stovetop whistling kettle, ‘Thema’ by Serafino Zani, Italy. 18/10 stainless steel with titanium coating — a proprietary finish combining the hygiene and durability of steel with titanium’s resistance and distinctive matte dark tone. Coil spring handle in polished steel, chrome-banded base, black Bakelite spout lever.
Not suitable for induction hobs.
Good vintage condition. Some superficial discolouration and a faint drip mark to the body; a small dent above the spout — present in other known examples of this model and likely a manufacturing characteristic. Surface crazing to the spout insert, not a through-crack. Chrome and coil handle in good order.
