In 1960s Italy, even utilitarian objects adopted a simple, architectural style. This rectangular box in silver-plated metal and light oak is a perfect example. Its silver-plated metal exterior displays an authentic patina, with slight imperfections in places, discreet reminders of its age and history. The lid opens to reveal a perfectly preserved light wood interior: the oak, left in its natural hue, has intentionally not been stained to introduce a luminous variation within our selection and to preserve the piece’s authenticity.
