Description
A circular ceiling lamp inspired by the ocean, with shades shaped like open oyster shells—originally created for the Fotografiska museum in Stockholm. A visible light source sits atop a cup cast in Enkei’s proprietary ReCeramix™ (made with over 90% waste content from Swedish sources), like a pearl within the shell, creating a soft, warm glow.
Hang it as a single statement piece or build larger installations. In clusters, it takes on a wave-like rhythm. Shades can be crafted from discarded sails, deadstock textiles, or ocean-waste fabrics—materials chosen to support cleaner seas.
