A rare and sculptural set of two stools designed by Frans Van Praet for the Belgian Pavilion at the World Expo in Seville in 1992, produced by Belgo Chrom. Part of a limited edition of 150 pieces, this model reflects a distinctive moment in early 1990s design, where experimentation and architectural thinking came to the forefront. The design pairs an industrial metal base with a molded seat featuring circular cut-outs, giving the piece a light and almost graphic appearance.

The contrast between the geometric steel structure and the softer, organic top creates a strong visual balance. One stool retains its original signature and numbering, while the other remains unsigned, though identical in design and production.
