Description
This sculptural set of four dining chairs was designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi in the 1970s. A striking example of Italian modernism, the design blends architectural precision with warm natural materials.
Each chair features a solid beechwood frame with a beautifully curved backrest, paired with a black leatherette seat that provides both comfort and contrast. The exposed joint details, characteristic of Marenco’s work, emphasize craftsmanship and structural clarity, while the slightly flared legs and bold geometry give the chairs their signature presence.
Their balanced proportions and clean lines make them suitable for both contemporary and vintage interiors, whether around a dining table or used as accent chairs.
Good vintage condition. Minor wear consistent with age and use, including light surface marks on the wood and small scratches on the upholstery. Structurally solid and ready for use.
