The natural roughness of the off-white stoneware give a uniqueness to each piece and give it an almost architectural status in the space.
The MOOR collection is composed of tables, lighting fixtures (table lamps, wall lights, floor lamps, pendant lights), planters, shelves, and vases.
The column-shaped base separates from the floor, giving these pieces a sense of lightness with their roughened surface in grogged stoneware.
Lisa Allegra was inspired by the shape of a mooring post that was used to anchor her childhood boat. It is also a nod to Henry MOORE, the sculptor of great form often balancing in space.
