About the Artist
Owe Wessbohn was a Swedish painter active in the Skåne region during the late 20th century. Known for expressive coastal and rural landscapes, he explored the meeting of water and land through dynamic brushwork and shifting light.
Exhibiting with Kävlinge Konstförening in the 1970s and 1980s, Wessbohn’s work was described as impressionistic in approach, though he considered himself closer to expressionism. Light, movement, and seasonal change were central to his practice.
