This pendant light is conceived as a suspended ceramic sculpture rather than a conventional lighting object.
Its inverted conical form creates a quiet visual gravity, drawing the eye downward while softly diffusing ambiental light across the space.
The ornamentation is integrated into the structure of the piece rather than applied on top of it. Its repeating floral motif references historic ornamental ceramics, yet its shallow relief and irregular rhythm keep it firmly contemporary.
All surface patterns are hand-impressed, meaning no two pieces can ever be identical.
Subtle variations, traces of the maker’s hands, and small irregularities are to be expected – they are an essential part of the object’s character and craftsmanship.
The glaze carries a rich tonal depth, shifting between deep burgundy with earth-brown undertones depending on the surrounding light, time of day, and interior palette.”
