Description
A striking Fulham Pottery vase circa 1930s with curved handles, undulating body, and oval footed base. Hand-pressed in white Devon clay, glazed inside only for water tightness. The unglazed exterior allowed clients to paint the vase to match their interiors. Designed by William J Marriner in 1936/37 for the Alber Ware range. Vase A was Fulham Pottery’s most successful piece, remaining in production until 1965.
