Description
Elegant spherical pewter vase by the prestigious Stockholm firm C.G. Hallberg, crafted in 1934 as confirmed by base markings. This sophisticated piece features ornate decorative handles characteristic of Swedish Grace (Swedish Art Deco) design. Most likely created by renowned silversmith and designer Sylvia Stave (1908-1994), who began designing for Hallberg during her art school years and was appointed artistic director at just 23.
Please note that this is a 90-year-old piece with corresponding age-related wear. The pewter displays a natural patina throughout and has small dents here and there.
